"Single Vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon - dry red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon. The berries are grown in the vineyard "La Capilla" and select the best of its sectors from first to third. The average age of the vines is 18 years here. Vintage wine are harvested by hand and placed in steel tanks for vinification and alcoholic fermentation. Then the wine is placed in new French oak barrels for milk fermentation and aging for 18 months prior to filtration and bottling.
Company Viu Manent was founded in 1935. Today it is one of the most famous Chilean wine producers. Viu Manent company was founded and is still managed by the family View Botin. The founders of the winery was Miguel Garcia View with two sons. At first, they specialize only in wine bottling and sales in the domestic market, then a descendant of the illustrious family - Don Miguel Viu Manent - bought the first vineyard «Hacienda San Carlos de Cunaco», that was the starting point for their own production wines. In the 80s of the 20th century, the company decided to start exporting wines to the international market. 90 years have brought significant changes Viu Manent - was upgraded production technology of wine and bought two vineyards located on the beautiful soils. To date, Viu Manent vineyard owned by three total area of 350 hectares. The company's philosophy is very simple and effective - "The best wine is made only from the best grapes."
