"Weisser Schiefer" - fresh, crisp wine comes from the famous wine region of Austria - Burgenland. Varieties Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner Vayssburgunder and grow in a sunny warm climate on the rich shale, iron and clay soils of the southern region. Fermentation of grapes was carried out in large oak casks, followed by the wine underwent malolactic fermentation and aging on the lees for 11 months. Before bottling the wine is not filtered. Uwe Slate - young Austrian winemaker, which surprised not only ordinary wine lovers and wine critics his uncompromising and courageous approach to business creation, seemingly traditional Austrian wines. In the past, the sommelier, he suffered a passion for wine in his, it should be recognized, successful career as producer of wines. It began in 1990 when completing their studies Academy of wine, Uwe acquired land. For their activities Uwe chosen region Southern Burgenland, which is considered one of the smallest and not the most promising and generous for winemaking. Tradition of wine production there already existed, but Uwe decided to completely change the overall picture of the region and produced wines there.
