Tasting Notes
The wine is a beautiful, deep garnet color, decorated with purple reflections.
Taste the wine a rich, pleasant, quite greedy, well-structured, with a still young but quality tannins. Shades of fruit, toast and licorice make up the palette of wine and remain in the finish.
The aroma of wine exudes a tone of ripe black fruit and berry jam, which blooms in the background hints of vanilla and spices.
The wine goes well with meat dishes, pasta, pizza, snacks, cheese.
Interesting Facts
Sichel company was founded in 1883 when the family moved to Sishel Bordeaux, and decided to take her head negotsiantskim business (before the family traveled a lot around Europe). Great-grandson of the founder, the Englishman Peter Sishel arrived in Bordeaux in 1960, and 12 years later, in 1972, was elected President of the Association of Wine Merchants Bordeaux. Finally, Peter is based in Bordeaux after meeting with his wife Diane. One of the important achievements of Peter was the restoration of the old estates in Margaux - Chateau d'Angludet, acquired in 1961. In addition, he was a major shareholder of Chateau Palmer, in which in 1938 were made significant investments of his father - Alan Sishelem and three other families. Peter gained fame as one of the most respected people in Bordeaux; in fact, he was one of the first wine merchant, who became the winemaker. Now the name of Peter Sishelya known around the world, primarily because of its strategy of combining tradition and modern technology.
