It was here, on the banks of the river Mataquito River, in the heart of the district, at the end of the XIX century there were first built winery Millaman (translated from the ancient language of the indigenous peoples who inhabited the valley of Curico, which means "Golden Eagle"). Vineyards planted many years ago (some vines around 70 years), have excellent potential and provide the ability to produce a wide variety of wines. In the last 10 years, thanks to a skilful combination of tradition and innovation Wine Millaman achieved its greatest success and well-deserved fame throughout the world.
