Malbec grapes for wine production "Punto Final" Malbec grown at three sites - Valle de Uco, Lujan de Cuyo and Medrano, differing microclimate and soil composition. Vines with an average age of 50 years, growing at an altitude of 980 to 1100 meters above sea level, on the north-eastern and south-eastern exposure. Hot days give way to cool nights, creating favorable conditions for full ripening of berries with intense flavor and generous fruit flavors. Irrigation of vineyards is carried out by melt water from the Andes mountain range, providing the necessary amount of moisture. Vintage old vines - limited, only 2.7 tons per hectare. The berries are harvested by hand in small plastic containers. Winery they pass a 3 day maceration at 8 ° C, after which the fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at 24-25 ° C, which lasted seven days. Malolactic fermentation is also carried out in steel tanks and shutter - in oak barrels, which allows to enrich and complicate the bouquet of wine, without losing the wonderful fruity character. Thanks to a good structure, the wine can develop well for four years or more.
