Wine golden-yellow color.
Wine with pleasant notes of peaches and apricots on the palate. Unforgettable long aftertaste.
The wine has a rich aroma with hints of flowers and fruits.
Wine delicious on its own or as an aperitif, but also goes well with rich dishes such as foie gras, white meat in a creamy sauce, rich in Asian cuisine (Peking Duck), lobsters.
Wines Vandazh Tardieu, which means wine "late harvest", made in the best harvest years only four noble grape varieties - Muscat, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer, in accordance with the strict rules of French winemaking. The grapes for these wines is collected only when it becomes overripe and can even be affected by noble rot (Botrytis cinerea). Unlike most Alsace wines, the wines contain residual sugar, which provides a high viscosity, whereby in quality resemble honey. However, this is compensated by the saturation of fruit acidity, and the wine becomes cloying.
Trimbach - the most prestigious wine producer in Alsace. This farm has existed since 1626. Today the family business run by Hubert and Bernard Trimbahi actively participate in the affairs of the younger members of the family, Jean and Pierre. The main objective of winemakers believe preservation respectable image of the family business. In addition, the brothers want to raise the wine of Alsace on a hitherto unknown level. I must say that while they do an excellent job with their work - wine Trimbach often called the best of the best. So, in 2005 Riesling Cuvee Frederic Emile 2000 magazine The Wine Enthusiast was the best wine of the year.
