Producer's description
Mora & Memo is a family-owned winery, in which for four generations traditions and passion for wine are passed on. Currently, the winery is owned by Elisabetta Pala, a daughter and niece of winemakers. Elizabetta dreamed of creating wines capable of expressing her native land and the character of the woman herself. The farm is located in the south-east of Sardinia, on the hills overlooking Cagliari and the sea. Vineyards of the company occupy 40 hectares, they are grown mainly autochthonous Sardinian grape varieties (Vermentino, Cannonau, Nuragus, Bovale, Monica), but there are international (Sauvignon Blanc). The labels of Mora & Memo wines depict characters personifying the participants of the famous battle, thanks to which Sardinia was liberated from Moorish domination.
