It was here in the second half of the XIX century lived a passionate winemaker Nicolas Illuminati, who in 1890 began to grow grapes, and founded his own winery, called Fattoria Nico.
Nicola instilled a love of winemaking to his grandson Dino Illuminati, which today continues the tradition of producing fine wine, using tricks of the trade of his famous grandfather and advanced winemaking technology, which he led the family company to the next level. In a perfect fusion of traditional and modern methods are born unique wine, each bottle which - trading.
Vineyards stretch of 150 acres of soil consists of clay, sand and impurities siliceous rocks.
