Monty Ross - a nice fruity wine with a rich taste and aroma, first released in 2004. To create it using the Barbera grape, which is collected from the eight-year vines in October. Vineyard soil clay - limestone. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Partially kept wine in stainless steel containers (80%), partially in oak barriques (20%).
The owner of Villa Stefano Sparina Mokkagato developed for its wine bottles amazing forms. Such a step was inspired by paintings of Giorgio Morandi, favorite artist winemaker. Monterotondo - is a small village in the community of Gavi, winemaking here dates back to the 17th century: when the village was surrounded by vineyards, where there was a wine cellar, as well as the house, which belonged to a noble family from Genoa. This family does not abandon those winemakers who worked nearby. Today, this tradition continues - the village is visited by tourists and admirers of ancient traditions of Italian winemaking.
