Tasting Notes
Wine red color with a brick hue.
The wine has a luxurious flavor with hints of toast and jam, as well as astringent tannins that add a pleasant sweetness in the aftertaste.
The wine has an interesting tangy aroma: notes of blackcurrant replaced by shades of cinnamon, white pepper and oak.
Wine is recommended to use with ham, mature cheeses, red meat and game on the grill.

In the production of wine Gran Reserva Marqués de Riscal uses grapes from vines over 30 years from their own vineyards, as well as acquiring grapes from selected local winemakers. Once solved, that this wine will be named Grand Reserve, it is placed in American oak barrels to withstand it for two and a half or three years. After that, the wine is aged for three years in the bottle before being released for sale.
