Wine golden-yellow color.
The wine has a ripe, rich flavors - nutty and spicy, with oily structure and long finish.
The wine has a scent with notes of lemon peel, lilac and pineapple.
Wine is perfect for the first dishes, fish in a creamy sauce goes well with fruit.
Producer's description
In 1984, Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisti purchased an estate located in Notri. The ancient town with picturesque surroundings is located at an altitude of 100 meters above sea level. The surrounding vineyards grow mainly on chalky and clay soils rich in zinc and iron, so the wines of this region have a well-defined minerality. The new owners decided to plant Cabernet and Merlot varieties in their vineyards, from the berries of which the first wine, Giusto di Notri, was produced on the estate in 1992, which immediately received high marks from experts for its special "Tuscan" character and depth of taste. After 2 years economy Tua Rita offered to the consumer wine "Redigaffi", created on the basis of Merlot grapes. His success was stunning. The vintage of 2000 turned out to be especially successful, when the Italian wine received a maximum score of 100 points from the wine critic Robert Parker, and the authoritative magazine "Revue du Vin de France" made it one of the hundred best wines in the world. Thanks to this recognition, the owners of the family business were able to modernize production and expand the vineyard area to 50 hectares.
Rita and Virgilio believe that the quality of wine depends on the condition of the vine, and therefore the main, most important types of work in the vineyards are done by hand and with great respect for the land and plants. Currently, Tua Rita, with the help of a highly professional oenologist Stefano Chioccioli, produces 5 types of red and 2 types of white wine with a total volume of about 110,000 bottles per year. Most of our products are sold outside of Italy.
