Tasting Notes
The wine is dark red in color with a light copper tint.
The classic taste of the wine is filled with spicy peppery tones and sweet notes of cocoa. Excellent balance, rounded tannins, long finish.
Tart and spicy aroma of the wine shows shades of dark berries, tobacco, toasted oak, licorice and chocolate.
The wine is recommended to serve dishes cooked on the grill, goes well with game and red meat, accompanied by mature cheeses.

Red wine "Herederos del Marques de Riscal" Gran Reserva is made from grapes harvested from vines whose age is more than 30 years. Harvest for this wine are grown on their own vineyards economy, as well as purchased from local winemakers. Wine barrels kept in American oak 2.5-3 years, and before release for a further 3 years in bottles. Storage capacity of wine is 15 years.
Marqués de Riscal - exemplary Rioja winery: excellent wines, long story, favorite now in Spain unique modern architecture and the ability to do all that is needed, regardless of the opposition and ridicule.
