Gran Centenario Anejo Tequila is made from a blend of alcohols with exposure of 18 to 36 months, based on the formulation of which - 100 percent blue agave. Carefully selected agave ten-held exposure in American oak barrels for 18 months to achieve unsurpassed balance of taste and infinite softness. The nobility of this fine drink is comparable in style with good French cognac. Gran Añejo Tequila Centenary won the silver medal at the San Francisco Wine and Spirits Competition 2008 and the Gold Medal as the best drink in its category (Best of Category) in the Polished Palate Spirits of Mexico Competition 2008.
In 1858, the tavern owner and producer of tequila Lazaro Gallardo perfected the process of production of tequila, which improved its taste and aroma. Later, in the late 19th century, he came up with the brand "Grand Centenary", dedicating it the new century. Lazaro also began selling their tequila visitors taverns, earning him an additional income, and its production and popularity. In 1920, his son Luciano decided to sell tequila is not in barrels, as before, and pour it into bottles. Inspired by the Art Deco style, he came up with the original shape of the bottle, which are used in the company's Grand Centenary until now.
