The wine is very deep ruby color.
The wine has a perfectly balanced taste with a good structure, explosive notes of juicy black fruit, notes of spices and mint. Slightly softened tannins and a long finish.
Fragrant wine with a rich aroma of ripe red fruits and hints of violets and concentrated eucalyptus.
Interesting Facts
Great vintage port. Company owner Peter Symington failed 6 times to become "the best winemaker of the year the production of fortified wine (Fortified Wine Maker of the Year)» for the annual award International Wine Challenge (no one else could not get this award at least twice). According to the The Vine, Graham's Vintage Port 1983 deserves 19 points out of 20, also was awarded 5 stars by Decanter Award.
