His vineyards today occupy 110 hectares - part of the land is owned, part is taken on long-term lease. Michele not only preserves the traditions of winemaking, but also develops and introduces his own methods: he developed a unique sterile bottling system and changed the method of storing wine. In the vineyards of Chiarlo, a very careful attitude towards the vines is practiced, grapes are harvested by hand, and only organic fertilizers are used.
