Interesting Facts
Wine "Pecchia" made from Sangiovese with a small addition of Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvested in small boxes. Fermentation takes place in conical French oak barrels, maceration lasts 20-22 days. The wine is aged for at least 14 months in oak barrels, of which 70% - new, and 30% - the second or third use. After bottling, the wine is aged another 4-6 months in the bottle before you come to the market.
Gagliole - a small country with an ancient history dating back to 994 AD, which is its magnificent scenery with cypress trees and ancient terraces expresses all the beauty of Tuscany. Vineyards "Gagliole" located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level in the south and south-western exposure. Age of vines is diverse and ranges from 3 to 30 years. The winery produces four wines - Gagliole IGT, Pecchia, Gagliole Bianco and Rubiolo. They differ in the same quality and marked the highest awards and expert estimates.
