Company Conti Zecca has five centuries of history and has a wealth of experience and tradition in the production of wine, which made her one of the leading wine producers in Apulia (Puglia). Dzekka family moved to Italy in 1500 and initially worked in agriculture. The family business has evolved over the centuries, and in 1935 Count Dzekka Alcibiades, who was endowed with courage and entrepreneurial abilities, decided to start the production of wine from their own vineyards. After World War II, Count Giuseppe, continued his father's work and has achieved great success in the field of wine due to the introduction of new methods of cultivation of grapes and vineyard restructuring.
Today the heirs of Count Alcibiades - Francesco, Luciano and Mario continues the family tradition, completely giving himself the family business. They pay more attention to all stages of wine making, from the choice of the ideal sites for planting grapes, selection of agronomic technologies to identify the optimal time of harvest and ending with bottling the wine in the bottle. This creates high quality wines that are among the best not only in Puglia, but also in the whole of Italy.
