Interesting Facts
Dry red wine "Epico" made from Tempranillo grapes, which meets with the vineyards of the region of Castilla y Leon. When vinification wort ferments for 8 days with twice daily pumping, then within 8 days of the transfer rate is reduced, so that the wine was not bitter. The next step in the process of fermentation with yeast at a controlled temperature of 28-30 degrees. Wine kept in 225 liter barrels of American and French oak for six months.
Marcos Eguren - one of the most famous wine producers in Spain, the owner of Dominio de Eguren. He represents the sixth generation of the family Eguren, who devoted his life to the wines. In 1975-1978 Marcos studied winemaking in "Vid de la Casa de Campo School" in Madrid. Plucking knowledge and practices, in 1980, he returned to his hometown and started a family business. The philosophy of the winemaker symbolizes respect and care for the family tradition and vineyards. Under his leadership, 6 wines were among the best rated famous wine critics and guides. Marcos won the award "Lifetime achievement award" at the famous competition "Guia Gourmets 2011" - the 25th Fair of Gourmets, celebrated in Madrid. This award-winning winemaker honored for his contribution to winemaking and respect for the land.
