Producer's description
The Domaine de la Choupette family estate, created in September 1992, is located in the appellation of Santenay. Today, the owners of the estate are the brothers Philippe and Jean Christophe Guthrin, representatives of the third generation of winemakers, who received the domain from his father. Vineyards of the economy, occupying 13 hectares, spread in Santene, as well as in the communes of Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrache. The company owns modern equipment for the cultivation of vines and winemaking, but remains very attached to the traditions that have created a reputation for Burgundy. The subject of great attention to the domain is working with vines and the entire process of developing wines in search of the highest quality. That is why old oak barrels are almost always used for aging drinks.
