Domaine Denis Race is located in the heart of the famous for its white wines of Chablis. Winemaking has been four generations of a family, united by a common passion for creating bright, stylish wines. Currently, the area of vineyards farm occupies 18 hectares and is fully planted with Chardonnay only. Vineyards are constantly updated, so you can find vines aged 2 to 65 years. Chalky limestone soil combined with optimum sunlight and allow proper exposure Chardonnay reveal the unique character of Chablis. Family Ras sells wines since 1979, starting with a modest release of 2000 bottles a year. Today, this figure has increased to 90,000 and allowed to enter the international market. Chablis Denis from Ras are found in England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Brazil, the USA and even Australia.
Denis Ras is the head of a family business that does not prevent him to participate in the process of wine production and the work in the vineyards. He holds a mechanical harvesting, and his wife and daughter do the work at the winery. Thus, the family is involved in all stages of wine production - from the care of the vines to the bottling and labeling.
