The wine has a pleasant taste impressively long with rounded tannins and a very well-balanced acidity, spicy, fruity finish.

Rich bouquet of fragrant wine reveals notes of red berries, hints of chocolate and extended, black currant and mint.

The wine goes well with different types of red meat, especially beef, lamb, wild boar and ostrich meat and pork ribs with barbecue and Peking duck.

Interesting Facts

"Pargua" - the first wine farm, whose name in the Chilean Mapuche language means "full moon". This is a powerful and fascinating, perfectly smooth wine, made in the style of Bordeaux - a region that is home winemaker Jean Pascal Lacaze. Lacaze believes that the quality of the wine depends on the quality of grapes from which it is created. Therefore, their vineyards Lacaze uses traditional and organic methods of farming. Wine used only the best grapes, barrels for aging are selected individually. The wine is aged in these 18 months, after which another roughly the same - in bottles. Total produced about a thousand boxes of this magnificent wine per year.

Agriculture Clos Quebrada de Macul was founded relatively recently - in 1995. The founders of the winery began Ricardo Peña, who inherited the estate, as well as David Williams and his brother Jorge. Before the estate passed into the possession of Ricardo Peña, the entire harvest of grapes sold to other wineries.
