The wine shows rich, rounded, seductive flavor with fruity tones, balanced acidity and a long finish.
Wine seduces soft, enchanting aroma dominated by notes of cherry jam, licorice, incense and undergrowth.
Wine will be a harmonious couple venison, grilled meat and soft cheeses, as well as the steak medium rare.
Chateau La Vieille Cure appeared on the map of the region Guyenne in 1780. Vines occupy a privileged position on the plateau and slopes oriented to the southeast. In 1986 the estate acquired friends Colin Ferenbach and Peter Sachs and the first thing began to reconstruct the Chateau. Vineyard area was expanded, some vines planted (except, of course old vines dating back 75 years or more). New plant was built with the most modern and innovative equipment. The main goal of the owners of the manor was the production of wines of the highest quality, which adequately represent the Chateau La Vieille Cure worldwide. Colin and Peter - perfectionists, they launched a new marketing program based on the bottling of wines exclusively in the castle.
Today production of Chateau La Vieille Cure exported to more than 25 countries, and the owners do their best to wines have won the highest rating in Libourne.
