Elegant, velvety taste of wine is a wonderful balance of good acidity and moderate tannins. Rich fruit tones complemented by notes of herbs, tobacco and pepper. For this wine is characterized by a long growing aftertaste.
Pleasant fruity bouquet filled with wine aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry and plum combined with hints of toasted oak, pepper and other spices.
This wine is served in a spicy hard cheeses, roasted beef tenderloin, stews and other dishes from red meat.
Chateau Julien - an elegant wine, about which we can say - he's got class. Indeed, this is a classic of the genre, wine has a great potential for aging.
The origins of Chateau Julien takes in 1810. Repeatedly changed owners, since 1908 Chateau belongs to the family Meyer. In the estate, along with the use of modern equipment, is in respect to the methods of traditional winemaking. Host - Alain Meyer - is the owner and connoisseur of great wine collection of old crops, which, despite the numerous proposals for their acquisition, yet remain unharmed in the basement of his master. Perhaps this is the only thing refuses hospitable host to its guests, for which the estate has a lovely cozy hotel, and is preparing for guests hostess herself - Ms. Meyer.
