Wine Olivier Leflaive, Chablis AOC Les Deux Rives 2005
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow with pale golden hue. Surprisingly clean and clear as cool spring water.
The taste is replete with citrus fruit, with a delightful tartness of fresh apple. Long aftertaste.
Fragrant aroma of baking, as in the confectionery and fresh apples. Smell the aromas of dried straw, and there are quite unexpected notes of citrus and peach. The aroma of wine in 2005 stronger than its predecessors.
The wine is perfectly combined with meat turkey or chicken, as well as salmon and crabs.
