Wine cherry red color.
The wine is harmonious, fresh, graceful fruit flavor with hints of berries, flowers, mint and spices, intense acidity and soft tannins. Short aftertaste.

"Ile Cuse," 2010 - graceful fruit wine, whose name translates as "Closed". "Il Chiuso" is made from a blend of grape varieties Pinot Noir and Sangiovese. Pinot Noir is going from one vineyard to the Burgundian clones varieties planted in 1984 in the valley of San Lorenzo. Sangiovese is taken from different vineyards. Fermentation Pinot Noir and Sangiovese occurs separately in stainless steel vats, with regular remontazhem. Maceration lasts 2-3 weeks and malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barriques. Then mixed varieties, and the final blend is aged 6 months in barriques.
Castello di Ama company was founded in 1972. Ama is a small hamlet in the heart of Chianti Classico, between two hills in the commune of Gaiole in Chianti Siena.
