Wine rich purple color.
The taste of wine is full bodied, juicy, round, with hints of fresh fruit.
The aroma of wine there are shades of white pepper, chocolate and tobacco.
The wine goes well with pasta, pork and red meat cooked on the grill.
The grapes for this wine are grown in the Rapel Valley. Harvested by hand in small 14-kg boxes and carefully transported to the winery. Thanks to modern technology and the applied optical system of selection of berries (Vistalys) were obtained pure fruit, past strict quality control. Whole grape soaked for 4 weeks for a more complete extraction of aromatic structure and color. Fermentation is continued for about 2 weeks in stainless steel tanks at 28-30 ° C. After fermentation, the wine is aged 21% in French oak barrels to add more complexity of taste, while maintaining a bright fruitiness.
In 2011, to basic grades were added Merlot Carmenere and Syrah, to emphasize the shades of red fruit in the wine and most impressively show roundness and spicy character of Carmenere.
Winery Casa Lapostolle, founded relatively recently - in 1994 - and has already gained recognition wine connoisseurs in many countries, belongs to the family members of French winemakers Marnier-Lapostol - Alexandra Marnier-Lapostol and her husband Cyril de Burne. Starting a business from a small vineyard "Clos Apalta", today expanded its family ownership to 370 hectares, which are grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Carmenere, Pinot Noir and Syrah even. Great contribution to the development of the production and maintenance of the status of the winery made famous French oenologist Michel Rolland, exclusively advises only in Chile Casa Lapostolle.
