Calvados amber-copper color.
Taste Calvados marked bright acidity and fresh apple and menthol notes, which are very nice complemented by nuances of cloves and pepper. In the final, there are shades of rancio and beautiful bitterness. The finish is persistent, long.
The aroma hints of calvados wins French apple pie, caramel, salted butter and candied apple.
Calvados is an excellent digestif.

"Cordon Argent" - the mature, stylish Calvados with a good balance between freshness, roundness and slight bitterness. It is very popular in the prestigious French institutions: for example, in restaurants and Paul Bocuse Le Café Dessirier. In 2011, the Calvados "Cordon Argent" won the gold medal at the "Concours Général Agricole Paris".
Calvados "Cordon Argens" is produced by the continuous distillation of cider, aged 12 months in oak barrels. Alambik, in which the distillation is heated in an innovative way using a unique method of Normandy - chips, which is "clean" fuel. The resulting Calvados, having a fortress of 70%, is placed in oak barrels for aging for 20 years or more. Bottles ready calvados sealed with wax seal and marked "PH" - Pierre Huet. If stored properly Calvados retain its quality for several decades.
