Tasting Notes
Wine rich burgundy color with purple reflections.
Bright, well-balanced wine, the taste of which is filled with notes of juicy plums and ripe cherries. The finish is long, rounded, with velvety tannins on the finish.
Intense aroma of the wine reveals notes of cherry jam and plum, accentuated nuances of smoke, licorice and tar.
Wine will be a great pair with grilled red meat with blood and mature cheeses and cheeses with blue mold.

Barolo wine "Le theory" is made from grapes grown in three of the best terroirs of Barolo - San Piero della Viola, Fossati and Kanubi. These vineyards are traditional "suppliers" of the Barolo. After vinification "Le Teorie" aged in large oak casks for a minimum of 4 years. Extract creates a balance between elegance and power that characterizes the classic Barolo.
Name of winery "Giacomo Borgono" was first mentioned in official documents in 1848, but judging by the family chronicle, the winery was founded by Bartolomeo Borgono in 1671.
