The wine has a light, harmonious, refreshing taste with a crisp acidity. The finish is decorated with mineral notes.
Fresh aroma of the wine reveals hints of grapefruit, lime, honey and orchids.
The wine will be paired with excellent mussels, scallops, duck, pasta with pesto sauce, a dish containing citrus and ginger, as well as Thai and Asian cuisine.

In Italian "birichino" means naughty, naughty that fully corresponds to the nature of wine "Birikino" Malvasia Bianca. Thanks to trim pressing, vinification in stainless steel tanks, reasonable exposure on the lees with little battonazhem, wine is not only elegant and balanced, but also endowed with a creamy texture and rich flavor.
For wine labels "Birichino" was selected paintings by famous Franco-German artist Annabel Verhoye, creates paintings on glass. Its clients include Walt Disney Company, known fashion magazines, bookstore Chronicle Books.
Birikino winery was founded in Santa Cruz in 2008, two winemakers - Alex Krause and John Locke, who by that time had enormous experience gained at the winery in Alsace, southwestern France, Italy and California. Together, the men set a goal to produce a harmonious, energetic wine that will not be just a "typical quality" wines, but something more unique. And they succeeded!
