The wine is dark garnet-brown.
Harmonious, velvety wine with a fruity taste, light and soft tannins, good balance of acidity and alcohol.
The wine has a scent of ripe berries with hints of apple peel, vanilla, licorice and ginger.

Interesting Facts
Barolo "Zonchera" DOCG, 2004 - this is a great wine, it is aged in large oak casks about 32 months. Zonchera produced at the winery Monsordo Bernardino, which was founded by Ceretto in 1987 on the outskirts of the city of Alba. Here are grown grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Nebbiolo and Merlot of which are delicious, world famous wines.
Ceretto Wine House is one of the most famous in Piedmont. Ceretto family began to engage in winemaking in the 30s of the 20th century, when Ricardo Ceretto moved to Alba. In the 1960s his sons, Bruno and Marcello Ceretto, continuing his affair with a completely different philosophy due to the new time, proving their activities, they are the most astute and successful winemakers Piedmont. Throughout his life, Bruno and Marcello dedicated to the promotion of Barolo as an outstanding wine, so they are often called "Brothers of Barolo."
Today, in the possession of the family Ceretto is nine wineries, which produces about 700,000 bottles of wine. The total area is 80 hectares of vineyards. Each of the nine farms has its own unique style and individual production. This is the third generation of the family preserves tradition, putting his talents to the production of high quality wines, which confirm the high reputation, won the highest awards in prestigious competitions.
