Exciting, voluptuous wine Barolo "Rocche" captivates with its beauty, smoothness and complexity. The wine is made from selected clones of Nebbiolo grapes - Michet (75%), Lampia (20%) and Rose (5%). They are grown in one of the best vineyards in Barolo region - "Rocky", in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, occupying only 1.3 hectares of south-eastern exposure. Age of vines - 46 years. Harvested in October. Vinification in stainless steel tanks in contact with the skins takes 28 days, of which 4 days - cold maceration, 24 days - fermentation at 30-32 ° C with daily immersion cap. After malolactic fermentation in barriques for 4 weeks, the wine is moved in large Slavonian oak barrels, where aged 31 months. Vintage 2008 was bottled without filtration July 20, 2011.
