Tasting Notes
The wine is deep red garnet color with brick reflections.
Solid, well-balanced, delicious taste of wine has a strong structure with abundant tannins and bright acidity, rich texture, fruit and toast notes and a long aftertaste.
Classic aroma of wine is filled with tones of super ripe black cherry, chocolate and tobacco.
The wine goes well with roast red meats, stews, beef Bourguignon, game, roast turkey, roasted root vegetables and cheeses.
Interesting Facts
Wine Barolo Cannubi Riserva is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the vineyard "Kannubi" in the commune of Barolo. This small area of 0.5 hectares, divided in 1954, has a southeast exposure and is situated at an altitude of 320 meters above sea level. Grapes harvested from vines by hand in the second half of October. The fermentation and maceration of must take place in oak barrels in the amount of 50 hectoliters and take 30 days. For the three-year long-term aging of wine makers were selected French oak barrels of medium roast. Once a year the wine matures in bottles after filling.
Barolo Reserva Kannubi certainly impress with its power, "masculine" character and rich texture.

Today the winery Barale Fratelli is managed by Sergio Barale, and his daughters, Eleanor and Gloria. Manor of the XIX century, located in the historical center of Barolo, is the administrative and commercial office facilities. There is also and old underground cellars, equipped with the latest technologies. In the production of wines all team members skillfully combines the Italian traditions and modern methods of vinification.
