Wine Malbec 2010 from Achaval Ferrer made from Malbec grapes harvested from three vineyards. The first of these - Mayor Drummond (5 hectares) is located in Lujan de Cuyo at an altitude of 960 meters above sea level on sandy soils. The density of planting here is 5,500 vines per hectare. Second - La Consulta (12 hectares) in San Carlos, is situated on an altitude of 1060 meters above sea level. 13-year-old vines planted here with a density of 4,000 per hectare, on soils with a high content of volcanic ash. And the third vineyard - Medrano (11 ha), located at an altitude of 670 meters above sea level. Age of vines - 86 years. Plants grow on alluvial soils. The wine is aged for 9 months in barrels made of French oak. Bottling took place in February 2011. Wine is recommended to use in the period from 2011 to 2019. 2-3 hours before drinking wine should be decanted.
