Tsanto Berenausleze - Austrian dessert wine, which is produced from selected grapes "late harvest", already affected by noble rot. Wines like this and bearing the name Berenausleze differ special sweetness, rich flavor and are made from grapes from selected areas.
Grapes for wine Tsanto Berenausleze grown on its own vineyards estates near the village of Anda, the soil is sufficiently dry, sandy and rich in minerals. These sites are considered to be one of the driest and hottest in Austria, contributing to the creation of high quality red and white wines.
In the production of wine is used in fermentation vats of stainless steel at a temperature of 16-18C and aged in stainless steel vats. Wine Tsanto Berenausleze serve as an excellent aperitif.
The first mention of the village ANDA referred to 1488, when it had a second name - Tsanto. The word refers to starovengerskomu notion of "economy". By 1546 the village was fixed for the modern German name ANDA.
Wine producer Tsanto jointly established wineries Umantum and Wolfgang Peck, the owner of cellars in ANDA. Joseph Umantum responsible for the quality control of grapes and vineyards, and Wolfgang Peck - for the process of winemaking. The total area of vineyards today occupies about 50 hectares.
