"Pfefferer", 2011 - white dry wine that has a delicate fruity taste and pleasant aroma with hints of nutmeg and colors. It is produced from grapes Golden Muscat, whose berries during ripening acquire a golden hue. This explains the unusual, the golden color of the wine "Pfefferer." Muscat - one of the world's oldest grape varieties that exists today in many varieties. Particularly interesting type of Muscat was found on sandy soils of South Tyrol - it was called "The Island" ("Pfefferer"). Currently, he is called the "Golden Muscat": when the berries ripen, they acquire a golden hue.

Grapes for wine "Pfefferer" grown at an altitude of 400-450 meters above sea level on the gravel-sandy soils. After collecting the berries are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a constant temperature of 16 degrees. The wine is aged for a short time in neutral vessels.

The name of the cooperative Kolterentsio comes from the village near Kolterentsio Girlana. Here is one of Europe's oldest vineyards planted by the Romans. Kolterentsio cooperative was founded in 1960, when 28 local farmers decided to join forces. Today, the cooperative has already involved more than 290 winemakers, which owns about 300 hectares of vineyards.
