The grapes for the production of white wine "Redoma", showing great richness, freshness and minerality, there is a small old vineyards planted with a variety of local white varieties, which is located at an altitude of 400-700 meters above sea level, on the right side of the river Douro. 2012 was marked by a lack of rain in the Douro region. In consequence of this growth cycle of the vine began 15 days later than in previous years. During maturation the weather was cooler than usual, but it allowed the grapes to reach a good level of acidity needed to create a fresh and balanced wine. At the winery the grapes underwent a thorough sorting and gentle pressing. Wort was decanted for 24 hours. Fermentation on fine lees took place in French oak barrels, but without batonnazha.
