Wine Donna di Valiano Chardonnay IGT is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the vineyards of Tuscany. The grapes are harvested between the first and second decade of September, depending on the climatic characteristics of the season. Harvested grapes are subjected to soft-pressed and left to ferment in French oak barrels. The wine gets its name because the women in the family Piccini always played a fundamental role, beginning in 1882. The feeling of love, which was created by Donna di Valiano, winemakers Piccini is dedicated to all women in the world.
Traditions winery Piccini begin in 1882 with Andzhiolo Piccini and small family estate area of 7 hectares. Guided only a passion for winemaking, Andzhiolo leave to future generations the most important rule: "No matter how much you make, it is important how much passion you invest in it." Today Tenute Piccini has to its credit four separate name and is the most recognizable brand in the world of Tuscan wines. Marin and Martin, is today the fourth generation of winemakers Piccini, remember how their father once said, "Everything we do at present, we are doing for the past and the future." It was a philosophy that adheres to the family for decades, combining extensive experience of the past and constantly striving for the future.
