Winery Dog Point (in translation from English - "A Dog's Place") founded the James Healey and Ivan Sutherland, who stood at the origins of the New Zealand wine industry. Before that they worked for a long time in a certain sector Cloudy Bay. Dog Point Vineyards farms are located in the north of the South Island, one of the regions of Marlborough - Valley Wyre (Wyre Valley). Grapes grow on fatty silt loam soil with natural drainage.
