Wine of deep, opaque ruby color.
The wine has a solid, sensual and sweet taste, reminiscent of liquid velvet, with hints of chocolate, black cherry and burnt oak. This is the most concentrated of all the Grand Cru wines produced in Saint-Emilion in 1995. The finish is smooth and enveloping.
The wine has a rich aroma with notes of raspberries, blackberries, black currants, plums, black cherries, olives, truffles, toast and tobacco.
The wine goes well with meat, game, poultry, and pates, cheeses and truffles. Ideal for traditional French cuisine.
The Angelus Chateau is located on a small road leading from the parking lot at the Maison du Vin in Saint-Emilion to Château Canon (Canon). Vineyard Chateau l'Anzhelyus located on clay-limestone soils. The dominant grape variety is Merlot (60%), the average age of the vines 35 years.
