Chateau Palmer - an excellent wine of the highest level. Refinement and elegance, soft and velvety - these are the factors that are constant for wine. The unusual combination of grape varieties - Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and a small amount of Petit Verdot, give a bouquet of extraordinary complexity, with aromas of fruit, flowers and spices that envelops the velvety texture and dense body. A delicate balance between the structure of the wine, rich flavors and restrained tannins give the wine Château Palmer incomparable charm, even at a young age. Rather high storage capacity is of great importance. This allows the wine to fully express the full force of the taste and variety of flavors - rich and complex, sometimes exotic, but always memorable, they reveal the years of exposure. This process continues very slowly over years and even decades in the bottle. The high quality of the crop, along with very ripe tannins and high acidity gave the world a fine wine with a long life. Storage capacity of the vintage 2000 - 40 years from the date of issue. The wine must be decanted 1 hour before serving.
Vintage Chateau Palmer 2000 - a classic representative of Margot. Due to the extremely wet spring weather, winegrowers Chateau were constantly on their toes. Such weather lasted almost until mid-summer. In July, the summer has come fully into its own. Vintage mature slowly and carefully. Dry summer weather lasted until the beginning of the harvest, which began on September 21 and lasted until 7 October. Sugar content, unfortunately, turned out not as high as in 1999, however, the richness and maturity of phenolic compounds were at a high level. Merlot wine has presented a rich and generous taste, and Cabernet Sauvignon and a small amount of Petit Verdot adds elegance and strengthened tannic structure. A blend of three grape varieties to create a rich and subtle, almost perfect expression of style Palmer.
