Wine Charles Thomas Echezeaux Grand Cru AOC 2004 is made from Pinot Noir from vineyards located in the commune of Flagey-Echezeaux appellasona Eshezo in Côte de Nuits. The municipality of Flagey became the property of the monks of the monastery Saint-Vivant in the XII century, and the second part of this name - Echezeaux - was added to the name of the commune in the XIX century.
