Wine Cheste family history began in the early XIX century, when the local sharecropper Marquis Giovanni Cheste (1871-1929) bought a farm and started growing cultivar Barbera. His son, Guido continued the family business and has achieved unprecedented success, becoming one of the most famous wine producers in Piedmont - a region where the tradition of making wine has deep historical roots.
