Wine Castello di Volpaia Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2004 is made from Sangiovese grapes harvested from vines growing on sandy soils rich in limestone. Vintage 2004 met the expectations of winemakers, he was much better than in the previous two years. Volpaya Castle (Castello di Volpaia) was built in the eleventh century, far from strengthening in order to create on the border of Florence and Siena.
