The grapes were harvested by hand in small boxes of 14 pounds and taken to the winery. In 2010, Chile was the strongest earthquake, so the yield was lower by 20%, and the grapes ripened a few weeks later. But the effects of the earthquake were offset by favorable weather conditions.
