Company History Bressan, as is often the case when it comes to land, vineyards and wine, is a story made ​​up of proper names: the name of the land, traditionally given for a variety of grapes growing there - Terah d'Izonzo - but especially from people's names, that hard work and perseverance have created a centuries-old tradition of winemaking. In the Land Registry of the Empress Maria Theresa, you can find the first mention of the farmers who paid taxes for the local lords sell wine. There you can find the name of Baron de Breskyani (from where the name Bressan), and the name of the company founder, Giacomo Bressan, who was born in 1726 and the beginning of the noble oenological activity.

Giacomo descendants expanded activities and wineries, despite all the external difficulties, increased sales and continued to produce wine in more and more without losing quality. The first, and after World War II was a disaster not only for humanity, but also for the grapes. Only through hard work Bressan family company was able to recover from total destruction.
