Vineyard "Bosco del Gal" has a special location and soil composition. Many centuries ago, there was an area of glaciers. Today, on the hills of Castelnuovo del Garda, facing south-west, the vineyard "Bosco del Gal" protected from the north a small forest. It helps to maintain an ideal microclimate for the maturation of the grapes.
Representing the terroir of the vineyard of the same name wine "Bosco del Gal" created out of four grape varieties. In order to maintain the freshness of fruit and bright fruits at short vinification and aging for 5 months winemakers were not used wooden barrels and stainless steel vats.
In 2003, the wine "Bosco del Gal" received a gold medal at the international competition "Vinitaly".
Family group Tomazzi Vitikoltori was founded in 1902, when Giacomo Tommasi purchased his first vineyard. Over a century of history of a small family business company has evolved into a major producer, owns 135 acres of excellent land in the best wine region of Italy - Veneto.
